Overview

As an HR Recruiter, you will play a central role in finding passionate, dedicated and mission-driven employees to join our agency! Based in Oakland, CA, the Recruiter attends career fairs, conducts phone screenings and group interviews, reviews resumes, and communicates with program directors to ensure that each program's hiring needs are met. This is an excellent opportunity to gain Human Resources experience within a nonprofit, collaborative setting. The Recruitment team is also responsible for the creation and maintenance of the agency's marketing and advertising materials as it relates to recruitment and general branding efforts.

Seneca is a nonprofit mental health agency dedicated to providing individualized, strengths-based support for children and families during their most difficult times. Our programs include school-based, community-based, crisis support, and permanency services for youth throughout California and Washington. Seneca is always looking for ways to actively empower and uplift traditionally marginalized communities. We are honored to lead a nationwide effort, Todo Por Mi Familia, a campaign to find and connect families who sought asylum in the United States to mental health services. Seneca’s agency-wide DEI Advisory Board, Employee Resource Groups, and Language Practice Groups help our employees provide culturally and linguistically relevant services to the families we serve.
