HOPE is a diverse and multi-faith coalition of 25 congregations fighting for racial and economic justice in Hillsborough County. Our shared faith values call us to work collectively for systemic change, transforming Hillsborough County into a community that reflects the dignity of all people.
HOPE has won the expansion of civil citations to reduce youth arrests for misdemeanor offenses, expansion of public transportation and dental healthcare for low-income families, and passage of a “ban the box” ordinance giving people with criminal records a fair chance at meaningful employment.
HOPE is part of the DART network of organizations, one of the largest networks of faith-based community organizations in the country.
