Position Summary:
• Identify, research, and cultivate individual, corporate, foundation and public funding.
• Plan and implement fundraising campaigns and events, crowdfunding and appeals.
• Write grant proposals, reports, letters of intent and concept papers timely.
• Develop and implement agency media and marketing plans. Oversee agency website, social media and outreach program.
• Lead agency public relations activity.
• Write and distribute Annual Report and agency newsletter.
• Develop and maintain donor relations through strong communications and reporting practices.
• Maintain Development files and database. Include all donor info, grant awards and denials.
• Ensure agency compliance with all grants requirements.
• Work closely with all managers and directors and coordinators to insure the most accurate and current agency profile.
Qualifications:
• 3 years minimum of proven success in grantsmanships and development
• Bachelor’s degree
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented and good project management skills
• Collaborate effectively with executive leadership, finance and program staff
• Ability to meet deadlines, juggle multiple priorities and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• Strong computer and social media skills.
