The National Council on Crime and Delinquency (NCCD) works to improve social systems that serve society’s most
vulnerable individuals and families. Our research and training help these systems achieve better outcomes for
maltreated and neglected children, juvenile justice–involved youth, incarcerated individuals, and older adults.
NCCD is seeking an engaging individual to promote the value of our SafeMeasures® analytics service to existing
and potential clients and partners. You will develop and implement strategies that generate new clients and
partners and expand the reach and impact of the SafeMeasures service in the fields of child welfare, juvenile justice,
and other human service sectors. You will lead efforts and strategies for ongoing, continuous client engagement
and liaise with agency leadership and key decision makers to support positive working relationships and ensure
organizational responsiveness to client needs.
• Knowledge and experience working with and/or in child welfare, juvenile justice, or another
social service or justice-related field is required.
• Familiarity with federal and/or state child welfare or juvenile justice policy and reporting
guidelines is desired.
• Understanding of social services best practices is desired.
• Demonstrated experience in developing, maintaining, and strengthening client relationships;
building business development pipelines; and market analysis is desired.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, public policy, or related social science field is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience working with and analyzing data that comes from large human
services agencies is preferred.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting and the ability to educate others in these areas is

The SafeMeasures philosophy is to use analysis and web-based reporting to create transparent access to data for our client agencies from frontline practitioners all the way up to agency administrators and policy makers. Equipping our client agencies with timely information positions them to be proactive in their work. Using SafeMeasures data, client agencies can also monitor individual staff workloads and staff performance, set priorities for upcoming work, and provide aggregate reporting for various purposes.
