OPPORTUNITY

The School Psychologist will provide psychological services to middle and high school students. The School Psychologist will also support the school by consulting with the Student Support Teams (SST) and providing support with the intervention process. The Psychologist may also provide group and/or individual counseling for both general education and special education students for a variety of student needs. Additionally, the school psychologist will collaborate with school staff including the school counselors, and social workers to provide crisis intervention. This position is for 193 working days per year.

 ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

> Complete Psycho-educational assessments, including but not limited to Initial Evaluation, Triennial Evaluation, Manifest Determination, Functional Analysis, Social-Emotional evaluation, and others as needed

> Consults with district/school level teams to implement all levels of RtI and SST procedures, and student specific interventions as needed

> Collaborate within the SST and when appropriate and necessary, evaluate students based on RtI for special education services.

> Collaborate with parents and staff to design appropriate accommodations and interventions when special education or a 504 plan is necessary

> Provides Behavior Consultation for students by designing and implementing measurable behavior interventions

> > Provides individual and/or group counseling for students with IEPs, as designed on an I.E.P

> Provides counseling, consultation and community liaison work for students

> Develop, coordinate, and support the implementation of 504 plans

Serves as a Behavior Intervention Implementor to support student with behavior support plans and provide training to BII to ensure implementation of treatment plans.

Supports RTI and MTSS initiatives with mental health.

> Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Director of Special Education & Psychological Services, Special Education Program Administrator, Cluster Director, or Chief Academic Officer.

 QUALIFICATIONS

> You have a current CA Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential

> You have a MA/MS degree in Educational Psychology or related field.

> Bilingual – Spanish: fluency in both written and oral language highly desired

> You have DIS counseling experience

> You have experience in crisis prevention and intervention

> You are able to work independently at a high level of professionalism

> You have a valid CA driver’s license: job requires work at multiple sites

> You are dependable, humble, have a sense of humor, and a rock-solid commitment to Green Dot’s mission and the communities we serve

> You will need to pass a TB test and background check at time of offer
