Description

We seek a Corporate Relations & Sponsorships Administrative Assistant to assist the team in all functions of Carnegie Hall’s robust corporate sponsorship and membership program, raising funds for Carnegie Hall’s artistic and educational programs.


The Assistant’s responsibilities will focus on corporate member solicitation letters and acknowledgments; prospect and donor research, strategic planning, and proposals; activity tracking via database; corporate member benefits management; tracking of department expenses, gift posting, invoice and payment processing; as well as vital administrative duties related to all department activity.

 

BA/BS degree required with preferred 1 to 2 years of professional experience. Individual must possess meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Computer knowledge and experience with database management, specifically Tessitura, is helpful. An expectation of minimal weekend and evening hours is possible during performance season.
