REPORTING TO: Chief Communications Officer
Position Summary:
The Project Coordinator will support the day-to-day activities, projects, campaigns of the AFSP Communications & Marketing team. This role will be responsible for making sure that all work within the Communications department flows efficiently between function areas of writing, PR, social media, marketing, partnerships and production. This team member will be responsible for keeping everyone on task and projects on deadline, handling the logistics and keeping all parties updated on the progress through entire lifecycle of each project stream. Secondly, this role will support the project management needs of our newly formed partnerships area in similar capacity of supporting day-to-day flow and process of partnership engagement.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, methodical, efficient, passionate about working with people, and able to manage the flow of multiple project streams at one time. This is a critical role to the team and a person who should be an excellent communicator of concise, accurate, deadline-driven information. They should instinctively know when to push and when to let things simmer as they work to keep our department on track!
