We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. Over 210 Councils in 50 states serve 200,000+ girls a year and engage close to 100,000 volunteers.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Development and consistent with the mission of Girls on the Run International, the Partnerships Manager is responsible for stewarding the organization’s relationship with National Partners and Corporate Sponsors to ensure that we advance partnerships and meet contributed income goals and objectives.


PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as key staff liaison for National Partners and Corporate Sponsors, overseeing all required activation of sponsorship agreements and benefits
  • Serve as the key staff liaison for councils, providing timely and effective communication regarding partner requests, pass through funding, and in-kind partner donations
  • Oversee National Partner and Corporate Sponsor council 5K activations, ensuring successful local and national outcomes
  • Work closely with the Sr. Director of Development and Development Manager to steward partnerships
  • Create and recommend meaningful activation ideas that the organization can present to existing partners
  • Steward National Partners and Corporate Sponsors by creating unique and memorable touchpoints through out the year
  • Assist with the cultivation of new partnerships through mailings, conducting exploratory sales calls and creating strategies to develop current and new sponsors
  • Work closely with the Creative Services team to oversee development of co-branded collateral and promotional materials, included but not limited to: social media, media tours, employee engagement materials and processes, and product promotion necessary to successfully activate partner relationships
  • Oversee development of annual National Partner review materials and reports
  • Oversee all National Partner involvement at the Girls on the Run Summit; assisting Development Manager with initial Girls on the Run Summit sponsors and expo solicitation if needed
  • Work with the Finance team to ensure timely and accurate input and reconciliation of sponsorship financial support
  • Oversee select Volunteer Alliances

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a Girls on the Run role model, exhibit Girls on the Run core values with others while working to achieve the organization’s mission
  • Develop positive and productive relationships with national partners, council directors, volunteers, board members, community members and staff
  • Any other duties deemed necessary by Sr. Director of Development

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Passion for empowering girls to reach their limitless potential!
  • Previous council/Girls on the Run experience preferred
  • 2+ years Account Management or Fundraising experience
  • Proven attention to detail and project management skills
  • Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to take initiative and manage multiple tasks and projects at a time and deliver within deadlines
  • Strong customer service skills with excellent follow-up and follow-through
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and leverage those relationships to cultivate additional opportunities
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office


This position is offering a compensation of $21 - $22.50 per hour, depending on experience.
