Magis Americas is seeking an experienced professional to join its team as Development Officer - Major Gifts, reporting to the Executive Director. The Development Officer - Major Gifts will work to raise private funds to support the work of the organization. This includes, but is not limited to, qualifying donors, building a donor pipeline, creating and implementing cultivation strategies for new and existing major gift candidates, soliciting annual and major gifts, and thoughtfully stewarding donors. At least 80% of the portfolio managed by this position will be in support of our local partner, Universidad Centroamericana-Managua in Nicaragua.

This is a full-time position (40 hours) based at our office in Washington, D.C. with an estimated 25-30% of domestic travel.
