About the Role

NHF is looking for a Medical Programs and Information Coordinator to join our team! Reporting to the Senior Manager of Medical Programs and Information, you will be responsible for providing medical news stories, research articles and referrals regarding bleeding disorders and their complications to the community. You will also responsible for maintaining/expanding available library resources and assist in the development of health care provider education. As the main point of contact to our Health Information center, providing educational materials, information and/or referrals to local chapters, Hemophilia Treatment Centers, other health care providers or community-based services; you will be an expert in a wide range of subjects related to bleeding disorders -- including the retrieval of resources via internet search engines, databases, in-house library collection and other appropriate external sources


Where you will work:

This is an NYC based position. Employee will work remote 3-4 days per week but will be expected to go into the office 1-2 times per week or as needed to retrieve materials to send to consumers & providers as requested.


What You Bring:

To qualify for this unique opportunity, our ideal candidate should have the following skills, education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • MS Office skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal in English)
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Self-starter and team player.
  • Bilingual a plus!
