Description

Join our growing Fundraising and Development Team! This is an excellent opportunity to expand your nonprofit experience and become familiar with the environmental community in Oregon, or to contribute your already-established experience and expertise on a part-time schedule. As our Digital Media & Graphic Design Specialist, you will work directly with our Director of Membership and will be responsible for meeting the design and digital media needs of our Development team. 


Essential Functions

● Support fundraising and membership growth campaigns and activities by creating print- and web-ready content and collateral, and posting related digital content

● Maintain calendar of scheduled and organic donor-centric posts to social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) in accordance with current best practices

● Design layout of/create graphics for development and fundraising publications

● Create and post steady supply of donor-centric, SEO content for web

● Implement digital strategy for online fundraising campaigns (including Give!Guide)

● Serve as in-house expert on current trends and best practices for fundraising across all major digital platforms; track and report on key metrics & analytics


Qualifications

● Proven success using major social media platforms for nonprofit fundraising

● Proficiency with digital media platforms, schedulers, and fundraising tools

● Strong graphic design skills (Adobe Creative) and excellent editorial ability

● Experience using Vertical Response and/or Salsa email solutions

● Experience with Drupal and/or Wordpress CMS

● Experience reaching diverse audiences with a clear mission/vision/brand

● Experience utilizing tracking tools such as Facebook Insights and Google Analytics

● Competency handling data inputs from and outputs to a variety of sources and people

● Able to manage complex tasks, multiple deadlines, rapid feedback, and new systems

● Clear understanding of the connection between skilled digital media production and nonprofit fundraising success

● Clear interest in contributing to an organizational culture of philanthropy while expanding your own interest in nonprofits, fundraising, digital media, and/or the Oregon land use system
