The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading outreach and recruitment within the child care sector, executing service agreements, and supporting initial implementation of shared services. The Sales Manager will also participate in the standardized deployment of the Early Learning Ventures (ELV) supports and services, maintain high quality customer service and build trusting relationships with child care sector clients.


  • Develop and implement short and long-term sales plan for state market saturation and scaling nationally
  • Lead generation
  • Conduct online demos and in-person meetings to secure new child care program clients to participate in ELV’s shared services model
  • Utilize CRM tool to track, monitor, and report on progress
  • Execute service agreements with child care programs
  • Manage service agreement renewals and upgrade recruitment/sales strategies and process efficiencies
  • Manage Lead Generator staff; work within a team to devise and implement growth strategies to increase number of participating members, generate sales revenue, and achieve set growth targets
  • Respond to inquiries from the community and provide information pertaining to recruitment, and outcomes of ELV shared services deployment and the ELV value proposition
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations; including child care standards and licensing
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with community agencies and organizations to garner support and leads
  • Formulate reports concerning such areas as work progress, program efficiencies, costs and scheduling
  • Adhere to project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of the organization’s requirements and project specifications
  • Serve as a representative and spokesperson for Early Learning Ventures
  • Develop programs to create community awareness of service availability, including overseeing the development and implementation of a sales plan to achieve set growth targets
  • Negotiate early childhood education partnerships and corporate sponsorships of ELV to increase brand awareness and recruitment activities

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrated 3-5 years of experience in a sales environment with a successful track record
  • Strong relationship building capabilities
  • Experience working with Sales Force CRM tool(s) preferred
  • Possess sound technical skills
  • Previous experience working within the child care industry preferred
