Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation (SDCF) seeks a Program Associate to coordinate the day-to-day operations of key Foundation activities, including its Observership, Fellowship, Events, and Conversation Series programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: coordinate and implement program, award, and event activities; manage podcast series; assist and support annual fundraising initiatives including drafting direct appeals, grants, and funder reports; manage donor database; coordinate and manage Foundation email and social media communications; provide administrative support to the Executive Director as needed. Research and special projects as assigned.


An exciting early-career opportunity for the right candidate with a knowledge and passion for the theatre industry. BA required. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant administrative, program development, or line producing capacity. Must be detailed oriented and thrive in a dynamic, multi-tasked environment. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal skills, including proof reading required. Must have demonstrated experience working with discretion and enthusiasm in an office environment. Proficiency with donor database software/platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Hootsuite, and social media platforms required. Knowledge of Blackbaud’s eTapestry donor database, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, and Slideroom a plus. Demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage projects independently, prioritize, and work effectively within time constraints.


SDCF offers a salary range of $38,000-$40,000/annum for this position, with an excellent benefits package.
