Based in San Jose, CA and reporting to the Director of School Communities will provide support to the Bay Area region schools. The Regional Manager, School Supports (RM) will work directly with Office Managers in supporting Office Manager priorities and workstreams. It is the ultimate ownership of the RM to ensure that each school meets compliance, enrollment, and parent engagement targets in the region. 


The RM facilitates professional development and training as designated by the Director of School Communities. In addition, the RM serves as coach to Office Managers and provides support as identified through various metrics and data. 


The Regional Manager, School Supports develops and maintains a relationship with Office Managers, coordinates and designs regional team meetings in support of progress monitoring, training, and professional development. 

Essential Functions:

  • Duties will include, but not be limited to: 
  • Provides direct support and one-on-one coaching and group coaching for Office Managers (OMs)
  • Coordinates and supports onboarding and training of Office Assistants
  • Temporarily performs critical Office Management tasks in the event of an OM leave or transition
  • Partners with Principals to support the management of their OMs in meeting regional priorities and targets around Parent Engagement, Enrollment, and other relevant workstreams
  • Supports with authorizer audits and schools meeting compliance targets in relation to student records, immunization, etc. 
  • Communicates regularly with other stakeholders related to regional and national 
  • Coordinate and facilitate professional development and training
  • Designs parent-facing trainings and serves as escalation officer for parent complaints and concerns
  • Serves as truancy and chronic absenteeism escalation officer for the region as well as the monitoring and creation of solutions for attendance concerns in support of schools meeting chronic absenteeism goals
  • Hires and onboards OM positions for the region as directed by Director or School Communities 
  • Collaborates with national teams on enrollment planning, family recruitment, parent engagement, and other schools related components to ensure regional targets are met
  • Works in partnership with regional Director of Schools to progress monitor and react to various performance metrics

Related Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of management experience 
  • Proven record of meeting goals and targets consistently
  • Strong self-management skills with the ability to self-direct and take initiative
  • Experience facilitating professional development

  • You are a communicator with strong writing and public speaking skills, and feel comfortable leading and facilitating large groups.

  • Strong organizational skills as demonstrated by the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks

  • Perform a variety of specialized and responsible tasks: maintain records, establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, parents, other school personnel, meet schedule and compliance deadlines
  • Possession of a valid California driver’s license: willingness to provide own transportation in conduct of work assignments as you will be required to travel from site to site to work with students and faculty at all sites (mileage reimbursed)

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high.
