As a member of La Colaborativa’s Development Team, the Data & Evaluation Coordinator will act as a key driver in La Colaborativa’s evolution to become a data-driven organization, equipped with tools and technologies to effectively serve our community through intake, assessment, service delivery, and follow-up processes. This role will report directly to the Director of Development.

Job Responsibilities

Data

  • Support Director of Development in customizing the Salesforce database to accurately reflect La Colaborativa’s service delivery model across all departments.
  • Implement strategic changes to La Colaborativa’s database to continually align our data systems and structures to shifts in our programs and organizational structure.
  • Build out assessment forms for community participants to complete.
  • Oversee annual assessment schedule and ensure all forms (intakes, demographic forms, outcome surveys, pre- and post-assessments, etc.) are collected efficiently, with data tracked in Salesforce.
  • Support all staff of varying technological abilities to learn Salesforce and be able to use it effectively to serve participants in their respective programs throughout their course of engagement (intake, pre-assessment, service delivery, post-assessment, and follow-up). This will be through initial training on the database and ongoing coaching opportunities to reinforce Salesforce learning.
  • Maintain a high level of data quality and ensure that data collected is in compliance with all grant and contract requirements. Identify and correct inconsistencies, potential duplicate records, missing intake or assessment data, and other errors.
  • Organize collected data into usable formats (tables, charts, presentations) to share widely with staff and board internally, and with donors and other stakeholders externally.
  • Provide support on special evaluation project initiatives and the organization’s Data & Evaluation capacity evolves.

Fundraising

  • Facilitate check processing in collaboration with the Executive Director, COO, Finance Director, and Development Director to ensure all parties receive timely notification and documentation of checks received.
  • Accurately input donor contributions in Salesforce database, including appropriately recording the donor information, source of the gift, and relevant gift details.
  • Maintain a high level of data quality, including identifying and correcting inconsistencies, potential duplicate records, and other errors. Update contact information on an ongoing basis.
  • Produce timely acknowledgements for philanthropic contributions received and manage storage of contribution back up.  
  • Support with grants and communications logistics, including contract signing, mailings, site visit logistics, documenting events through photos and video, and gathering information across departments.
  • Maintain the development team’s supply of materials like letterhead and postage.
