The Copyright Society is seeking a Programs Manager to join its New York City office. Reporting to the Executive Director, this full-time position offers the opportunity to collaborate with an energetic and dedicated team. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, and interested in intellectual property and copyright law.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing the Copyright Society's marketing schedule
  • Promoting our programs/conferences and collaborating to reach registration goals
  • Managing our website, media library, and social media accounts and ensuring they are up-to-date
  • Creating email marketing campaigns
  • Working with graphic designer and videographer to create content and graphics for our website, marketing and fundraising campaigns
  • Coordinating with hotels for our national conferences and overseeing our banquets and event orders
  • Acting as the onsite contact at our national conferences and NY Chapter events

Requirements:

  • B.A. or B.S. with 5+ years of work experience, preferably at a nonprofit;
  • Previous marketing and/or PR experience;
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment;
  • Travel to national conferences and special events;
  • Fluency in Word, Excel, Google products and cloud-based software;
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Novi AMS or other association management software a plus;
