Position: Communications & Visitors Fellow

Location: Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village

Rwamagana, Rwanda

Duration: ~11 months – September 2021 – July 2022 (exact dates TBA)

*Ahead of placement, Fellows will be required to participate in a one-month, part-time remote training program to learn about the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village, the role, and ASYV’s Service Learning Curriculum.

The Communications & Visitors Fellow is responsible for providing the support necessary to further the Village’s marketing, communications, and development efforts and implementing ASYV’s visitor program. 

The Fellow will work together with ASYV’s Visitor Services team to facilitate all Service Learning trips, as well as day and overnight visits. The Fellow will be trained to serve as the content expert for ASYV’s Service Learning Curriculum, which is a core component of ASYV’s Service Learning trips. Communications elements of the job involve supporting a comprehensive communications plan including monthly email communications and regular social media posts.
