The Position:

Treehouse currently has an opening for a Drivers Assistance Program Coordinator on our Department Team. This is a regular, full-time, non-exempt position based at 2100 24th Ave. S., Suite 200, Seattle, WA 98144.

Responsibilities: 

  • Utilize project coordination skills to implement statewide program and perform the daily administration duties necessary to provide funding for youth in foster care.
  • Facilitates reimbursements and payments associated with obtaining a driver’s instruction permit, driver’s education courses, and driver’s license.  
  • Coordinates payments and reimbursements for motor vehicle liability insurance costs incurred by caregivers and youth.
  • Verify and evaluate eligibility for program through collaboration with other department members to contact the Department of Children Youth and Families.
  • Develop an outreach strategy and training model for internal and external partners.
  • Train and empower stakeholders on how to access the program and related services.
  • Communicate and answer questions from internal and external stakeholders including youth, caregivers, state agencies, insurance agencies, and driver’s education providers.
  • Prepare administrative and functional program related reports using Dynamics Database and organizing information in Excel.
  • Identify, develop and recommend sustainable and documented program operating processes.
  • Provide outgoing and enthusiastic professional customer service.
  • Keep and update clearly defined recordkeeping practices maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Reconcile expenses and documentation maintaining program funding budget.
  • Analyze supporting documentation received from internal and external stakeholders for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
  • Follow strict security procedures, ensuring confidentiality of youth and caregiver records.

Salary and Benefits:  

The starting salary/rate for this position is $20.00 per hour depending on experience. Treehouse provides a generous benefit package including medical, dental, vision, long-term disability and life insurance paid by the employer. Paid holidays, staff appreciation days and a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) plan are included.  We offer a 403(b) plan with an employer match and dependent benefits are available.  We also allow dogs at work and enjoy regular employee social events!
