Location: ONLY CANDIDATES CURRENTLY BASED IN CHENNAI.

Qualifications & Qualities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA or Post Graduate degree preferred.
  • 2-7 years of related experience.
  • Ideal candidate shall be pro-active, resourceful, and positive.  Solution orientated, driven, and decisive by nature. Ability to complete projects and duties with a sense of urgency. Excellent time management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. Flawless spoken and written skills in English.
  • Strongly preferred: Tamil proficiency. Hindi useful.
  • Tech and social media-savvy. Proficiency with MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Website knowledge preferable.
  • Candidates should ideally have their driving license and personal transport.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day smooth functioning of the office, and duties with the Executive Director.
  • Research and analyze govt policy and industry elements. Generate write-ups and articles.
  • Interview and engage volunteers/interns with their deliverables.
  • Confident personality to deal with govt officials, elected representatives, and corporate CEOs. Working with govt agencies for GST, MCA, customs, taxes, etc.
  • Drive international NGO and business projects. Engage with partners and NGOs (India & USA). Leverage our existing network for CSR and other fund raising.
  • Work closely with banks, auditors, lawyers, consultants, etc. Manage bank accounts, expenses, epayment and office operations.
  • Plan, schedule meetings, appointments and travel. Organize conference and speaking engagements.
  • Handle all relevant correspondence including e-mails, letters. Social media postings, PR and updates.
  • Other tasks and duties as needed.

Compensation: Fixed pay and performance-based bonus.
