Here is your opportunity to make a difference in a small, creative and active fund development department of a 96 year old nonprofit organization serving children in Montgomery County, PA. With a stable organizational structure and annual operating budget, College Settlement has successfully improved its major gifts, annual giving, and events revenue over the past four years, leading to the need for a Development Assistant to maintain records, provide donor communications and stewardship, and assist with executing an annual fundraising plan.  Looking forward to its centennial, the organization seeks an Assistant with fundraising, customer service and database experience. This half time position is fully funded and has opportunity for personal and professional growth.

This half time position (20 hours a week) is fully funded and has opportunity for future growth depending on the success of the candidate. 

 

The Development Assistant is supervised by the Director of Development and is a key staff for College Settlement’s fundraising annual plan. She or he will schedule meetings and activities, manage donor records including data entry and stewardship. S/he also will produce fundraising metrics reports, donor thanks and communications, and special projects under the direction of the Director of Development. The position requires a 20 hour work week.
