The Organization

The mission of Older Adults Technology Services (OATS) is to harness the power of technology to change the way we age.

OATS creates change by inviting thought leaders, organizational decision-makers, and people aged 60 and older to join Senior Planet, a diverse and growing network of individual and institutional members exploring how the use of technology by older adults can create positive outcomes.

The Role

Learn about OATS’ distinctive take on aging, its impact, and vision for the future.

Work to support the organization’s program activities at a national level to help further our mission and meaningfully engage those who interact with OATS programs throughout the country.

In partnership with the Director of Operations, the candidate will manage the lifecycle of all of the organization’s key programs - from development to implementation and assessment.

Work with the Director of Operations and other key leadership staff to strategize the best ways in which to infuse all of the organization’s program activities with the Senior Planet ethos.

Create a routinized feedback loop for which to assess program successes and identify areas for improvement.

Critically analyze results of all program evaluation activities, seek areas where efficiencies could help bolster the impact of our work, and collaborate with staff to understand the importance of iterative design in all of the organization’s programmatic endeavors.

Engage with staff members throughout the organization to understand their programmatic support needs and pain points, while simultaneously helping to create structure for reporting & feedback.  

The Candidate

A strong, socially-minded individual with a desire to help understand the ways in which we can harness the power of technology to change the way we age.

The perfect candidate will have extensive experience with program development and strategy, preferably in a non-profit setting. This position involves a unique combination of oversight related to the entirety of the organization’s existing program operations in several states, coupled with deep involvement in new and emerging organizational priorities that align with our mission.

Finally, someone that is fun, humorous, and has an affinity for working with older adults in capacities that align with our distinct take on aging will help ensure the candidate becomes enmeshed with our work, our staff, and most importantly with our members.

Qualifications

  • MA Required
  • Nonprofit experience required
  • Project management experience required
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, Qualtrics, SPSS, SAS, etc. preferred
  • Knowledge of consumer-grade evaluation tools such as Survey Monkey, Form Assembly, etc. is preferred
  • Ability to prepare custom reports for internal and external dissemination
  • Other responsibilities as required


Other Benefits

The annual salary for this position is between $65-75k annually. In addition, OATS offers full-time employees a generous package of leave time (three weeks vacation and ten sick/personal days), health insurance and ancillary benefits, professional development and growth opportunities, and an exciting, collegial work environment.
