Position Summary

The Systems Analyst II is responsible for assisting with analyzing, supporting and performing Enterprise Production Operations services to optimize organizations efficiency. They will support enhancing the reliability, availability, and performance of Enterprise Production Operations activities through-out the organization. They will perform prompt and effective day to day information services to business users and provide Tier II support. The services supplied by this person are in the areas of secure managed file transfers, vendor interface management, production processing, test execution and job schedule monitoring. These services are provided for The Nature Conservancy’s (TNC) Constituent Relationship Management, Financial Management, Human Resource Management and Managed File Transfer systems. 

Responsibilities

• Assist with performing day-to-day Enterprise Production Operations tasks and activities.
• Develop, execute, maintain, and monitor business processes and process schedules.
• Development and maintain KPI reports and dashboard.
• Configure, maintain, and automate secure data transmissions.
• Develop, maintain, and streamline Enterprise Production Operations procedures and documentation.
• Participate in incident response activities and provide Tier III support using established protocols.
• Perform analysis to resolve product shortcoming.
• Perform testing for system configuration changes, upgrades, and vendor interfaces.
• Translate basic business requirements into operational processes and schedule design.
• Resolve Enterprise Production Operations issues independently or collectivity as part of a team.
• Perform regression testing of job schedules and business process configurations within new releases.
• Manage and execute change deployments, process flow, and software configuration.
• Work with key business users to educate in the area of Production Operations.
• Willing to travel and work flexible hours.
•  Serve as backup to Enterprise Production Operations team members.
•  Assist with innovation for continuous process improvement.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical discipline and three years’ experience or equivalent combination
• Strong business and systems analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience with data encryption and transfer protocols
• Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation
• SQL and shell scripting
• Experience with the use of Microsoft Office programs
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
• Multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated
• Basic vendor management skills.
• Proactive identification and resolution of issues 
• Experience providing excellent customer service to business end-users
• Experience in Information Systems in production control and job scheduling
• Experience with change and configuration deployments a plus
• Experience with Operating and Service Level Agreements a plus
• Working knowledge of Share Point and Power BI a plus
• Working knowledge of APIs and other systems integration technologies and methodologies
• Working knowledge of Database Management System
• Working knowledge of and experience with cloud computing
• Ability to coordinate efforts with peers, end-users, representatives from other departments and external partners.
• Strong interpersonal skills and written and oral communications skills.
• Self-starter and able to perform with little supervision
• Strong ability to ensure understanding of priorities; to focus on priorities; and to communicate resource or schedule issues in advance
