Soliya is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our high-performing team in this entry-level position.  You will use your organizational, communication, administrative and people skills to effectively and efficiently coordinate Soliya’s day to day organizational operations. You will work closely with the Finance and Operations teams in the US and Tunisia to support the organization’s global team and operations.


Job Responsibilities:

 

The Finance and Operations Coordinator will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer. Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:

Assisting with organizational finance including:

o   Expense tracking and reporting

o   Vendor relations

o   Communication with Soliya’s accounting and auditing teams

o   Soliya’s day to day financial transactions


Coordinating and assisting with organizational operations including:

o   Helping to implement organizational policies and systems

o   Tracking PTOs, timesheets, and maintaining financial and operational calendars

o   Assisting with recruiting new staff and interns

o   Maintaining organization files

o   Researching and make travel arrangements for team members

 

Coordinating and assisting with HR procedures including:

o   Helping with onboarding and off-boarding staff

o   Staying up to date with new HR laws and regulations

o   Tracking and implementing all required staff trainings annually

o   Assisting with implementing team building activities

o   Organizing and reminding staff of performance reviews requirements

o   Assisting with drafting contracts and collecting necessary information from vendors

 

Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Accounting/Finance /Administration or related experience;

·      Strong experience using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;

·      Excellent writing and communication skills;

·      Strong project management and time management skills, able to prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks and projects at a time;

·      Strong interpersonal and creative problem-solving skills;

·      Ability to work independently when required;

·      Passion for the work of Soliya and demonstrated cross-cultural sensitivity.

Soliya currently provides (at 100%) all of our US staff members working 30 hours or more with the Empire BlueCross BlueShield Health Plan. Soliya allows employees to enroll family members into the Empire BSBC Plan, covering 100% of the employee cost and 50% of coverage for the employee’s children only. The remainder of health expenses will be deducted from the employee’s monthly salary. We complement this with a Dental plan from Guardian-Premier and a Vision plan from VSP (both also at 100% coverage for all, including family).
