Description

Overview: The Receptionist greets visitors as they enter BBB’s offices. Provides inquiry and complaint information to walk-in customers. Answers BBB’s public consumer telephone lines and gives advice. Answers the public administrative phone lines. Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail operations. Assists with handling of some consumer complaints.


Skills and Knowledge:

  • Friendly and professional manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, good time management skills
  • Team member, willing to help and take on additional responsibilities
  • Familiarity with office procedures
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications and Internet searches
  • Ability to learn and use telephone system and other office equipment


Experience Required/Preferred:

  • Two years of college
  • Computer skills
  • Spanish fluency a plus

Previous office or reception experience desirable
