The Center for International Environmental Law is seeking a skilled advocacy expert and seasoned campaigner to join its People, Land & Resources Program (PLR) as the next Senior Campaigner. This is a great opportunity for an energetic individual with knowledge of current human rights issues and environmental challenges, who is experienced in mobilizing local and international campaigns to accompany, support, and defend communities and the environment worldwide.
The PLR Senior Campaigner position requires: knowledge of human rights, environment, and/or international development finance; demonstrated success in creating and mobilizing effective campaigns; effective communication and public speaking skills; extensive experience working in collaborative processes; and fluency in both English and Spanish.
The position is based in Washington, DC, and requires periodic international travel. A complete position description is available here. Salary is commensurate with experience.
