Description

REVERB is currently hiring a qualified candidate for a part-time, project-based, freelance SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR position.


We're looking for a Freelance Social Media coordinator to work from our Portland office and from home to engage and increase REVERB’s social media presence. Minimum guaranteed 10 hours/week (with potential to increase as needed).


Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure REVERB’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts are constantly turning out
  • interesting and engaging content in order to elevate REVERB’s brand
  • Create content, publish and grow REVERB’s various social media channels and drive
  • website traffic (volunteers, email subscribers, donors, etc.)
  • Work closely with REVERB’s Communication and Brand Manager to plan and execute social
  • media content calendars in connection with all of REVERB’s programming (tours, festivals,
  • campaigns, sponsor deliverables, hot-button issues, etc.)
  • Continuously test and help direct content strategy with Communication and Brand Manager
  • (which may include more ad-centric social media marketing)
  • Use appropriate tools to report on social media analytics, traffic, stats and budget to
  • Comms/Brand Manager and Co-Directors
  • Engage followers and other social media users with a clear, timely, unique REVERB voice
  • Stay up to date with knowledge of new and exciting social media tools and platforms and
  • propose strategies for REVERB to engage our fan base using these means


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience and proven success with growing social media platforms
  • Knowledge and ability to report on analytics to inform social media strategy
  • Strong social media voice and communication skills
  • Available to be consistently posting, engaging and responding to followers
  • Be able to create memes and graphics to be used in posts
  • Ability to work within and navigate a collaborative and creative, fast-paced environment with tight turnaround times
