    Essential Duties:

    • Reporting to the Director of Development, the Corporate and Foundations Relations Manager will:
    • Establish and build relationships with key individual, corporate, community contacts interested in financial, in-kind, and volunteer engagement
    • Manage the corporate donor strategy that will increase corporate engagement at Youth Villages
    • Identify new ways to engage corporate partners and expand on current initiatives 
    • Be responsible for driving the process to identify and cultivate corporate partners to reach fundraising goals (monetary & in-kind) associated with initiatives  
    • Carry portfolio of corporate and individual donors and prospects 
    • Have their main focus on new Champions for Children (donors of $1000+) 
    • Be responsible for contributing to overall team goals of visits, tasks, unique donors, new donors, dollars raised, new Champions 
    • Identify strategy of expanded Youth Villages awareness to new communities, partners, etc. 
    • Manage New England’s Internal 'Our Family Campaign' 
    • Manage all in-kind donation requests from staff and solicit donations as appropriate 
    • Present to all new employees about the Our Family Campaign 
    • Plan and execute all Our Family Campaign events in the fall for staff 
    • Support team projects which includes Holiday and Backpack Heroes, event support and other determined projects 
    • Attend team fundraising events and support team with on-site event execution 
    • Plan corporate events/opportunities to engage with broader employee base in pursuit of identifying individual donors and higher levels of engagement. 

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of advanced nonprofit or higher education development experience leading strategic fundraising initiatives and growing diversified financial revenues and resources, preferably with organizations having no naturally affiliated constituencies
    • Demonstrated success in campaigns and securing major and annual gifts primarily from individuals followed by foundations and corporations
    • Has a history of achieving annual, measurable fundraising goals of six figures or more
    • Demonstrated success in working as a member of a team and developing effective working relationships with staff, volunteers and donors; while also having the ability to work independently to accomplish goals
    • Knowledge of both local and national philanthropic communities and businesses headquartered in region
    • Working knowledge of donor management software (e.g. Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce)
    • Understanding of best practices in donor stewardship and communication
    • Excellent time management, project management, and organizational skills
    • Excellent written and oral skills
    • Preference given to candidates with experience in the child welfare, and/or mental and behavioral health field
