Since March 2020, the James Beard Foundation has pivoted its programs and resources to providing support for people in the food and beverage community to help businesses survive the COVID-19 crisis and rebuild a more resilient and equitable industry. The Foundation’s Open for Good campaign raises awareness about the importance of independent restaurants in their communities. Reporting directly to the Foundation’s CEO, the VP of Programs will lead the James Beard Foundation’s (JBF) portfolio of programs and campaigns to maximize the positive influence the Foundation has on the restaurant industry and food world – through social, cultural, and policy change.
