Minimum Qualifications:

Three years of successful, relevant direct fundraising, donor stewardship, and relationship-building experience in a nonprofit organization, including proven success securing gifts from individual and corporate donors. Four-year college degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience.

Summary of Position and Responsibilities

The Partnership Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing SOLVE’s annual individual donor program and Out of Office/Into Nature initiative, and coordinating corporate volunteers. He/she will liaise with the Program Department to effectively cultivate new donors from existing volunteers, as well as increase giving from current donors. The Partnership Manager will report to the Director of Advancement and work closely with all team members, including the CEO and board, to identify, cultivate, solicit, and acknowledge individual and corporate donors. 

Individual Giving 50%

·        Lead the volunteer to donor conversion demonstrating significant year-to-year growth in numbers and dollars

·        Maintain a portfolio of donors and prospects for which she/he will be directly responsible to cultivate, solicit, and steward, to meet or exceed annual individual fundraising goals

·        Document and maintain clear and timely records and call reports to track contacts, donor giving, notes, and assist in the maintenance of an accurate DonorPerfect database

·        Support all individual giving efforts, including annual giving, monthly giving, and fundraising events

·        Write appeals and acknowledgement letters; assist in coordination and implementation of direct mail to individual donors (i.e. newsletters, annual report, etc.)

·        Create content and design of donor outreach emails

·        Solicit in-kind donations for donor incentives

Social media 10%

·        Manage all social media channels

Corporate Partner Coordination 40%

·        Solicit in-kind donations for corporate events

·        Create and manage marketing plan for Out of Office initiative

·        Manage prospecting for and solicitation of new corporate groups for Out of Office initiative to meet or exceed annual corporate fundraising goals

·        Corporate volunteer outreach and support

·        Manage workplace giving

·        Solicit and manage third party fundraisers

·        Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

·        Demonstrated track record of fundraising achievement

·        Experience with MS Office

·        Experience working in a donor database

·        Demonstrated success writing donor fundraising appeals

·        Clear & effective written and oral communication skills

·        Strong organizational ability and keen attention to detail

·        Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

·        Comfort working in a fast-paced environment

·        Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously

·        Valid Drivers’ License required to attend multiple out of office meetings 

·        Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort with phone work

Desired Skills

·        Demonstrated success transitioning volunteers to donors

·        Experience in DonorPerfect database

·        Experience using Adobe Creative Suite software

·        Conversant in Spanish
