The Center for Apprenticeship & Work-Based Learning supports apprenticeship and other forms of work-based learning as mainstream workforce development and talent solutions for American businesses. It provides expert guidance on how to identify and share effective apprenticeship and work-based learning approaches for companies, students, and workers. The Center also plays an important role in highlighting innovations that expand opportunities for people of color, women, people with disabilities, and others who have traditionally been underrepresented in career advancement opportunities and well-paying jobs.


About You!


We’re looking for Communications Manager with at least five years of experience in marketing or communications. This person will be responsible for planning, developing and maintaining the content for the Center for Apprenticeship & Work-Based Learning. Our team welcomes an engaging Communications Manager who will collaborate with us to create new messages, communications, and stories for the Center. The Center is less than a year old, so we want someone who is excited about helping us build the marketing and communications for a critical proven offering that connects education and workforce development for the future.


We would love to chat if you are:


·      Experienced in project management from inception to implementation

·      Excited about coordinating marketing and communications campaigns 

·      Able to successfully execute information dissemination 

·      Familiar with CRM platforms


We think our new Communications Manager will:


·      Have a bachelor’s degree in a related field

·      Demonstrate organization and time management skills

·      Possess knowledge of workforce development/apprenticeship

·      Be a self-starter as well as a dedicated team player
