    Description

    We are looking for someone to run day to day operations of the non-profit in concert with the Executive Director.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Communication Management
      • Communication and Outreach
      • Calendar Management
      • Emailing and following up with other contractors and individuals working on board priorities
      • Reviews, assesses, routes, answers and monitors follow up action steps on correspondence. Gathers and analyzes information required for administrative reporting.
    • Meeting Coordination and Board Management
      • Organize and schedule quarterly Board Meetings
      • Meeting Minutes
      • Management of board member expansion
      • Monthly communication with Board Members
    • Task Support
      • Keeping track of U School projects and timelines
      • Communicating with necessary parties about upcoming meetings and / or deadlines
    • Event Coordination
      • Design and organize events related to the non-profit
    • Financial Management
      • Reimbursement management - Google Sheet and payment systems
      • Support payments to contractors
      • Management of taxes in collaboration with Treasurer and accounting firm
      • Budget reconciliation with accountant monthly
      • Grant reporting calendar
      • Grant expense tracking
      • Grant outcomes
    • Digital Media
      • Updating website and digital communication tools
      • Supporting other members of the team to post relevant materials
      • Designing flyers and other digital items for events

    Preferred Skills and Qualifications

    • Experience in overseeing budgets and expenses
    • Experience in developing internal processes and filing systems
    • Strength with Google Suite
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects
    • Proficiency with office productivity tools and an aptitude for learning new software and systems
    • Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information related to the company and its employees

    Time: 40 hours a month
