The Art Instructor at Southwark and Key School sites will work with students in Kindergarten through 8th grade between both sites during our summer program. Training and preparation for Summer Camp at these sites will begin on June 4th, and camp will run from June 25th - August 3rd, with potential opportunity to continue working in our afterschool sites into the 2018-19 school year.

Sunrise students are diverse in interests, personalities, abilities and English proficiency. They are mostly hands-on learners who love to build things. The prospective Art Teacher must be comfortable with several artistic mediums to meet the specific needs of each of our 3 groups of students. Flexibility with techniques and approaches are a must, as each of our student groups has different interests and abilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience both as a teaching artist and working with at-risk and culturally diverse groups of students and a positive approach to working with youth and a team.
