Oversee day-to-day operations of SAMHSA’s Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) substance abuse prevention grant for Latino Men who have Sex with Men (MSM) in Latino immigrant communities at high-risk or living with HIV/AIDS. Pre-treatment services include providing comprehensive assessment, health education, case management, referrals and linkage to substance use treatment programs, follow-up, HIV testing and outreach. Experience administrating GPRA and psychosocial assessment instruments. Maintain quality assurance and evaluation outcome measures. Responsible for all data collection.
Qualifications: Licensed Master Social Worker, master’s in psychology, or other human services related field with at least five (5) years’ experience in HIV prevention and/or LGBT substance using communities, and at least three (3) years supervisory skills. Experience managing substance abuse prevention program and providing referrals to substance abuse and mental health services. Experience with community and group level interventions such as PROMISE and Safety Counts preferred. Ability to read and write in Spanish strongly preferred.
