Job Summary:


  • Facilitate projects developed for the Adult and Pediatric Division Director Associations as well as coordinate all aspects of the Pediatric Pulmonary Training Directors Association (PEPTDA)
  • Assist all projects related to the ATS Planning and Evaluation Committee
  • Support all aspects of the ATS Virtual Programs, including webinars, podcasts and the ATS Recording Room at the International Conference
  • Assist the Chief Program Officer and Director of Education with ad-hoc project requests, including joint industry projects

 

Responsibilities:

 

Oversight of PEPTDA, Adult and Pediatric TPDs and Forums


Coordinate all aspects of the Pediatric Pulmonary Training Directors Association (PEPTDA), Adult and Pediatric Association of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Division Directors, including:

  • Project management for the Pediatric Resident Development Scholarship program
  • Developing process for new programs and products to support the growth of these groups within the ATS
  • Monthly podcast recording and editing for the Adult Division Directors
  • Website maintenance for PEPTDA, APCCSD, Pediatric Division Directors
  • Pediatric Resident Development Scholarship Program development and outcomes tracking
  • Organizing, scheduling and facilitating annual forums at the ATS International Conference, including the ATS APCCMPD PEPTDA Forum


Committee Support – ATS Planning and Evaluation


Coordinate with the Chief Program Officer in the administrative management of the Planning and Evaluation Committee

 

ATS Virtual Programs, including Webinars & Podcasts


Support all aspects of the ATS Virtual Programs, including webinars, podcasts and the ATS Recording Room at the International Conference

  • Manage the development of early-career specific electronic media resources and identify opportunities for growing the ATS presence via social media platforms including podcasts and website maintenance
  • On-Site Social Media development for early career professionals in partnership with the Communications dept, including facilitation of Facebook Live
  • On-Site webinar capture and podcast recording

 

In-Kind Equipment Coordination


Assist the Associate Director of Accreditation with all in-kind equipment requests, which includes securing equipment for the Resident Boot Camp, postgraduates courses, Learning Labs at the International Conference.


Ad Hoc Education Projects


Assist the Chief Program Officer and Director of Education with ad-hoc project requests, including joint industry projects collaborations, including the ILD Education program, Asthma/COPD projects, etc.

 

Support of ATS International Conference Activities


Provide onsite support for the Education Unit at the International Conference including assisting with the equipment coordination of all education programs, serving as a main point of contact for all equipment contacts during the ECP and postgraduate events, overseeing the ATS Recording Room.

  • Prepare and complete action plans with minor supervision
  • Ensure all project deliverables are completed in efficient, concise and timely fashion

Assist all projects related to the ATS Planning and Evaluation Committee

  • Committee communications are clear concise, and timely
  • Excellent member support and communication
  • Ability to balance multiple projects with competing deadlines and complete them in order of priority with minor supervision
  • Must be able to multi-task, planning several events simultaneously
  • Superb written and oral communication skills

 

Support all aspects of the ATS Virtual Programs, including webinars, podcasts and the ATS Recording Room at the International Conference

  • Excellent member support and communication
  • Ensuring each product (e.g. podcast, social media content, etc.) is released in a timely fashion with little to no supervision
  • Provide timely status updates to the Chief Program Officer as needed
  • Creative, insightful and innovative

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree (60 college credits), BA/BS degree preferred, and two years’ experience working in an office setting in an administrative capacity required.                                          
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and working knowledge of assorted database programs such as Access.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have very strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and in team-based settings
  • Some travel required (International Conference and PG Course Review and Selection meeting)
  • Strong project management skills and demonstrated attention to detail
  • Understanding of ACCME rules and regulations a plus
