The BOMB Digital Marketing Coordinator is involved in jobs vital to digital project production, cross-platform digital marketing, copyediting, and event coordination. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will report to the Associate Publisher.

BOMB Magazine is a not-for-profit quarterly magazine that publishes conversations between artists, writers, actors, directors & musicians. 

BOMB offers a four-day workweek, with some flexibility to work from home or in the BOMB office in Brooklyn. This is a New York-based position.


Responsibilities:

+Coordinate all aspects of media campaigns including timelines, content, and creative materials required for campaigns with cross-functional teams.

+Develop, pitch, and conduct pre-and post-production of digital media projects, including FUSE, BOMB’s podcast. 

+Ideate, build and schedule email marketing campaigns via MailChimp. 

+Support the Marketing Manager in creating and scheduling social media content pertaining to online and print publishing schedules, issue marketing, and upcoming events. (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube).

+Support all virtual programming production efforts including BOMB’s Behind the Scenes workshop series, A Room with a View event series, as well as issue launches, Art Fairs, and Book Fairs. 

+Conduct pre-and post-production outreach (i.e., contacting hosts, press, media outlets, and affiliated institutions). 

+Assist with multimedia asset creation (i.e., audiograms, videos, images, GIFs, etc.) for BOMB’s social channels, podcast, and website.

+Conduct regular SEO audits and make on-page, off-site, and technical SEO adjustments to maintain, optimize, and improve SERP ranking.

+Manage technical elements of virtual programming (i.e., pre-show video, Eventbrite ticketing, event execution via Zoom Webinar, etc.). 

+Support virtual and/or in-person events including event content development/creation, booth coordination, email marketing, landing page creation and creative asset development for partner campaigns. 

+Write, edit, and proofread web copy. 

+Maintain tactful email communication with BOMB’s partners, sponsors, and contributors, in accordance with BOMB’s institutional voice.

+Assist with all digital and logistical needs for the annual BOMB Gala.


Required Skills: 

+Experience working with tight deadlines and the ability to organize and prioritize projects to make sure concurrent projects are finished on time.

+Impeccable grammar and experience with copyediting.

+Understanding of a broad range of marketing activities, disciplines, and tactics, including content marketing, digital marketing, and industry events.

+Outstanding work ethic and time management skills.

+Experience using website content management systems; experience with Craft CMS is a plus.

+Willingness to learn web production and release processes, including website tools and technologies.

+Excellent oral/written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail.


Qualifications:

+A passion for the arts and arts programming.

+A team player who can roll up their sleeves and work side by side with artists and writers to deliver the artist's voice.

+A degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or Journalism preferred or equivalent work experience.

+Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in digital marketing, program coordination, content creation, and strategy, copywriting, or public relations.


Technical Skills :

Airtable, Google Analytics, Zoom Webinar, MailChimp, Salesforce, G-Suite, Craft CMS, Adobe Suite (i.e., Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat), Facebook Ad Manager, Google Ads, Shopify, Eventbrite, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube.
