Position Summary:

CDM is looking for a professional and experienced Project Coordinator/Executive Assistant to join our dynamic, binational, multilingual team! This position will contribute to CDM’s work in a variety of areas, including event and campaign planning, project coordination and research, and administrative support. Occasional U.S. and international travel will be required.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manage a variety of research projects and campaigns, coordinating efforts within and across teams;

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders;

• Plan and implement diverse online and live events ranging from congressional briefings to fundraising dinners to strategic planning meetings;

• Coordinate all event marketing and logistics (i.e. print and digital marketing materials, site layout, permit acquisition, security, day-of programming, budget planning);

• Conduct research and make recommendations on vendors, venues, and other event aspects as needed;

• Manage Executive Director’s calendar; assist her in preparing for meetings, events, and presentations; coordinate logistics and travel arrangements;

• Prepare and process reimbursements;

• Draft reports and correspondence for Executive Director and Partnerships Coordinator as requested; and

• Provide administrative office and communications support as needed.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Fluency in Spanish and English;

• Bachelor of Arts or Science;

• Relevant work experience;

• Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple, overlapping deadlines;

• Familiarity with a range of personal computing applications, including Google Apps and Microsoft Office Suite;

• Ability to interface effectively with various individuals in a multi-cultural, diverse organization; and

• Willingness to travel within the U.S. and Mexico.
