U.S. Right to Know is seeking a researcher, writer or journalist for a project seeking to uncover the origins of Covid-19, and the hazards of gain-of-function research and biolabs where pathogens of pandemic potential are stored and manipulated.

U.S. Right to Know is a nonprofit public interest investigative research group focused on promoting transparency for public health. We work globally to expose corporate wrongdoing and government failures that threaten the integrity of our health, our environment and our food system.

Since 2015, we have obtained, reported on and posted online, thousands of industry and government documents, including many acquired through judicial enforcement of open records laws. Once-secret documents obtained by USRTK are now posted in the UCSF food and chemical industry documents libraries for free public access.

The findings of the USRTK investigations have been reported by news outlets around the world, including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Science, BMJ, Guardian, New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Fox News, Le Monde, Der Spiegel, Time magazine, Boston Globe, CBC, Politico, STAT, Sky News Australia and many others.

The researcher, writer or journalist will write public records requests and correspondence with agencies, read original source documents, organize and update filing systems, and write articles and blog posts.

The researcher, writer or journalist can be based anywhere in the United States.
