HCS is a non-profit agency founded in 1972 to provide training, counseling and technical assistance to homebuyers, homeowners, tenants and the homeless. HCS works to build the capacity of individuals and groups to preserve their homes, seek their highest level of housing independence and support the economic and social development of their neighborhoods.

HCS is looking for an Database Administrator/ Support Specialist to support our organization in our Salesforce environment. This person will be responsible for providing technical support to all HCS staff and assist in maintaining our client data, administering and support Salesforce platform (user setups, profiles and roles, reports and dashboards, customized objects, fields, record types, page layouts, workflow , deduplication, dashboards and validations),

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer and support Salesforce platform (user setups, profiles and roles, reports and dashboards,
  • Provide primary support and training to CRM end-users and administrators.
  • Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organization.
  • Create and maintain user documentation/training guides.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CRM system or user-generated errors.
  • Manage the Salesforce ticketing system and all user-submitted tickets, addressing issues as they arise.
  • Complete regular internal system audits to uncover data integrity issues, deduplication and/or opportunities for process improvement.
  • Responsible for maintaining the overall org health of our Salesforce environment
  • Create forms in Form Assembly
  • Manage Salesforce data feeds and other integrations.
  • Work with Program Mangers to understand data needs and provide reporting tools
  • Deliver accurate reports & dashboards,

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Salesforce admin/support 
  • Understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, reports, list views, dashboards
  • Understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Strong data management abilities
  • Experience in HomeKeeper and Form Assembly a plus
