    Job Title: Program Manager

    Reports To: Executive Director

    Hourly Rate: $28.00/hour; subject to annual performance review

    Position Type: Part-time 20 hours per week

    Work Hours: Hybrid flexible schedule within normal business hours M-F. In office 10-15 hrs/week; Tuesday in office 10:00 – 2pm. Some occasional evenings and weekends. The Foundation is a separate entity from the Issaquah School District and operates year-round.

    Benefits: Accrued/Earned PTO (Paid Time Off)

    Compensation Paid: Monthly

    Performance Review: Sixmonths from hire date; annually thereafter

    Exempt: No

    Job Scope

    The Program Manager’s role is critical to fulfilling the Foundation’s mission and vision. This position reports to the Executive Director and works in close partnership with the Board of Trustees Program Oversight Committee Chair to ensure that ISF funding is directed towards and fully utilized for priority focus areas with potential for direct and significant impact on students. If you are highly organized, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships, and can see the big picture while also demonstrating exceptional attention to detail, this may be a role for you.

    Responsibilities:

    The Program Manager role fulfills 3 key objectives for the organization:

    1. Helps ensure funds are spent fully and in alignment with ISF mission and strategy
    2. Communication of program impact throughout key points during the year
    3. Provide data and information as needed to ISF partners in support of board presentations, Impact Report, promotional materials, grant applications, etc.

    Specific duties include:

    • Cultivate strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders including district administration, community partners, and school leadership.
    • Provide persuasive written materials and verbal presentations related to the Foundation and its programs.
    • Manage the full lifecycle of our annual funding
      • Based upon previous year funding impact, partner with ED, Programs Committee, and ISD counterparts to recommend programs budget
      • Manage the funding process with ISD counterparts, including creation of and alignment to the annual Letter of Agreement
      • Programs budget oversight and tracking
      • Consistently monitor funding usage and impact and make recommendations to modify funding as needed. This includes regular check-ins with program leads and ensuring process for collecting impact information throughout the year is followed.
      • Proactively identify potential areas for additional funding consideration
      • Lead end of year program evaluation
    • Contribute to the planning and execution of ISF events (Nourish Every Mind, Impact in Action, Leadership Circle) by providing input and coordination on program spotlights
    • Provide support for Foundation-run Programs (Teacher Grants, Tools4School, Impact Scholarships)
    • Be an active participant in leadership meetings with ISD team

    Required knowledge and skills

    • Experience efficiently and effectively working on multiple multifaceted projects simultaneously.
    • Experience working with diverse community members and organizations.
    • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
    • Proven track record of achieving timely results.
    • Ability to foster positive staff, committee, and board relationships through consistent, open, and direct communications.
    • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and the ability to quickly learn software used for the grant process, website, and donor management.
    • Experience in budgeting, program and grant management, data analysis and reporting metrics to evaluate program impact preferred.
