Job Title:  Talent Manager/Lead Sourcer 

FLSA status: Non-Exempt 

Department:  Human Resources #19      

Reports to:  HR Director, ECED

Position Summary:  To be responsible for the all duties related to driving recruitment strategy and execution. Improving social media presence and finding unique avenues to create new pools of candidates. Researching and finding events that will secure promising outcomes, coordinate collateral and resources needed to have successful event. Creative writing, artistic taste and beautifying out presence on our website, job boards, social media and other platforms. Multi-tasking and managing projects from start to finish. Coaching of team members, as it relates to Recruitment.

Essential job duties include but not limited to:  

•   Be responsible for sourcing candidates, reviewing qualifications and sending to hiring manager for consideration 

•   Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and keep track of feedback/decision to move forward with job offers or schedule 2nd or final interviews 

•   Daily or regularly engage with candidates who are going through the interview process to establish a positive experience and connection- via text, chatting or email  

•   Source quality candidates through Indeed, ZipRecruiter, ADP, Idealist.org, Handshake, LinkedIn, DOL, Newspaper Ads and other job boards as it is applicable  

•  Adjust recruitment strategies based on priorities, ensure jobs are posted, refreshed and sponsored for higher exposure and traffic  

•  Apply creative writing and relevance to design flyers, social media posts, to show-case CMCS mission, sanctuary model, or our benefits and perks 

•   Ensure all recruitment resources are maximized and utilized to highest extent to improve efficiency and job placement, recommend other alternatives with data-driven outcomes 

•   Reviewing and selecting resumes for further screening via telephone screening or email.  

•    Arrange interview times, group interviews, or hiring events with hiring managers.  

•   Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to update to Human Resources Director and Executive Team 

•   Act as a point of contact for Recruitment initiatives and build candidate relationships during the employment process. 

•   Additional responsibilities as required for the smooth operation of the department and Agency.

Essential skills, experience, licensure, certification: 

•   Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field and at least 2 year of experience recruiting in a non-profit environment.  

•   Strong interpersonal communication skills 

•  High level of proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems, or manual recruitment 

•  Proficient in all things technology and new applications: word, excel, adobe, google docs, constant contact, etc. 

•   Use of own car is required and willingness to travel to Valhalla, NY HR office and Bronx locations 

•   Bilingual a plus.
