Program Manager

The Program Manager will be responsible for the coordination and production of Program Department’s National programs and program training. This position reports to the Director, Program Department. 

 Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee the execution and evaluation of Department’s National programs and training for Members and Volunteers
• Responsible for compiling and disseminating program and training materials
• Manage all aspects of Zoom productions including scripting, run-of-show, overseeing tech rehearsals, managing panelists, speakers, staff and volunteers to ensure professional production quality and follow-up
• Create post-event multimedia materials including transcript, closed captioning and summaries.
• Create and review program and project materials, including printed and multimedia educational and marketing content, and data links
• Manage registration process and tracking of participants/customer support
• Collaborate with other departments to promote events via email and social media
• Create program and training reminders and follow-up emails and documentation
• Track Department expenditures and process budget documents
• Manage relationships with units around the country and provide programming guidance

Required Knowledge, Education or Experience

• BA with 3-5 years management experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication 
• Excellent proofreading skills
• Strong project management and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with social media and digital marketing 
• Technologically proficient with a solid understanding of and ability to use appropriate software products, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Basecamp, Salesforce, Zoom, a project management platform, and other data management platforms
• Positive outlook and ability to work will in a team environment.
• Ability to work some evenings and occasional Sundays.
