Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator/Salesforce Administrator

Goddard and Isaacs Center are announcing their strategic alignment this month—the culmination of a series of conversations between our leaders over the course of the last few years. Organization Overview: The Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center (Isaacs Center) is a neighborhood-based, nonprofit, multi-service organization founded in 1964. Our mission is to promote social and physical well-being and encourage growth, self-reliance and dignity throughout every stage of life. Today, the Isaacs Center endeavors to provide effective and innovative community-based programs that reach 6,000 children and families, disconnected youth, and isolated and homebound seniors in Yorkville and East Harlem each year. 


Position Summary: Reporting to the Director of Innovation, the Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator/Salesforce Administrator will help Isaacs Center continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback and designing best practice solutions. Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to Isaacs Center, and critical to our commitment to increasing the economic mobility and financial security of the young adults we serve. The Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator/Salesforce Administrator should be highly proactive, and comfortable supporting all aspects of the Salesforce experience including training, design solutions, and promptly addressing support tickets.

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and a desire to keep learning.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Salesforce product knowledge with 6 months of hands-on administrative experience
  • A proactive attitude to platform enhancements
  • A desire to implement best practice solutions
  • Available and responsive to questions
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Gathering requirements and proposing technical solutions
  • Training users and creating training materials
  • Understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules)
  • Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm towards continued personal/professional development
  • Active in the Salesforce community


Primary Duties:

Salesforce

  • All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups
  • User support tickets
  • Identify and gather requirements from users and stakeholders
  • Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports
  • Monitor user adoption
  • User training and creating training materials
  • Other projects as assigned


Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Help executive, managerial, and frontline staff utilize data to evaluate programmatic performance, recognize potential performance challenges, and apply real-time course corrections in real-time
  • Develop program and division specific performance dashboards to be used in monitoring and evaluating programmatic and staff performance
  • Work with a variety of key stakeholders including funders, staff, and students to consistently ensure that Isaacs Center’s instance of Salesforce reflect stakeholder evaluation priorities
  • Support funder reports and grant applications
  • Other projects as assigned
