Shepherd's Table is now hiring a fulltime chef 32 hours per week with the potential for more hours.
The chef is part of a 3 person team of chefs who provide 19 meals per week. We serve seven days a week. The chef is responsible to provide a nutritious, delicious meals to between 400 - 500 people each day. The chef works hand in hand with volunteers who assist in meal preparation and service at each meal, The chef supports our meal guests, getting to know them and walking with them in their journey from homelessness to housing. The meal program at Shepherd's Table is critical to our mission. The chef we hire most be passionate about our mission, be willing to train and support over 1,500 volunteers each year, excited and skilled about preparing excellent food at each meal. We are a 365 day operation and the chef must be available to work shifts which include holidays. The chef must be Serve safe certified.
