School Community Partnerships Coordinator-PHENND Fellows AmeriCorps VISTA

The PHENND Fellow School Community Partnerships Coordinator (CPC) will serve at one specific school in Philadelphia and act as the internal school liasion for all external community partners. Through building relationships, needs assessment, asset mapping, strategic planning, and creating a variety of communication platforms, the VISTA will build their school's capacity to leverage and grow its partnership network in support of students. families, and school needs.
Each year PHENND places AmeriCorps VISTA members (full-time federally funded national service members) in high-poverty public schools in Philadelphia and in key School District offices to serve as Community Partnership Coordinators. The overall goal is to increase the capacity of Philadelphia schools to leverage community partnerships to better align their resources to the needs of students and families.
PHENND provides robust training and professional development, as well as many networking opportunities.

- $750 Relocation Allowance (or up to $500 in local settling-in reimbursements)
