Summary

This position is located in the Department of the Chief of Program Operations (CPO) Immediate Office

This position is designated as a full-time telework position on a temporary basis due to COVID-19 and may transition to onsite work when the office fully reopens.

Responsibilities

The Analytics manager will be responsible for high-level initiatives on policy and developing analytics roadmaps for cross-department coordination. The manager will evaluate the current and future state BI tool landscape, ensuring that staff have adequate technology to build an impactful analytics paradigm that leverages everything from point and click solutions to machine learning capabilities. With an increased analytics team size, this position will play a key role in coordinating team focus, and serve as a liaison with leadership to identify and set priorities and timelines.


-Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.

-Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze agency functions and key operations and performance metrics.

-Ensures accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes.

-Examines, interprets, and reports results of analytical initiatives to agency-wide stakeholders.

-Develops and implements quality controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements.

-Anticipates future demands of initiatives and designs/implements solutions to meet these needs.

-Organizes and drives successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of analyst and data employees and effective collaboration with stakeholders.

-Communicates technological challenges and business impacts to supervisor as they arise.
