●     Monitor, analyze, and synthesize trends within the sector to help develop the team’s collective knowledge base and information systems.

●     Conduct strategic outreach to engage and influence external stakeholders and key thought leaders in the field; this includes media interviews, development of a deep network across the sector, as well as frequent travel to participate in conferences, meetings, and speaking engagements.

●     Lead the development and management of key projects/initiatives, participating in fundraising and grants management as needed.

●     Supervise, mentor, coach, and evaluate interns and/or staff as assigned.

Qualifications:

●     Experience in the postsecondary education field and/or demonstrated curiosity about its history and evolution.

●     Demonstrated interest in and experience conducting qualitative research; additional grounding in quantitative research and analysis preferred.

●     Excellent writing skills, with proven ability to engage a targeted audience through a variety of communication channels (blogs, social media, white papers, etc.).

●     Strong interpersonal skills along with an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to cultivate relationships and a following in the field.

●     Experience speaking persuasively to large and small audiences.

●     Ability to understand both qualitative and quantitative trends through the lens of Disruptive Innovation and other related frameworks strongly preferred. Minimum of five years’ work experience.
