The Community Development Corporation of South Berkshire (CDCSB) seeks an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and experienced Fundraising & Marketing Associate/Program Coordinator. The position is full time and includes benefits.

The CDCSB is a community based, non-profit organization formed in 1989 whose mission is to provide affordable housing and economic development opportunities for low- and moderate-income persons in the southern Berkshire region.

The Fundraising & Marketing Associate/Program Coordinator will have the primary responsibility for the day-to-day management and implementation of fundraising and marketing and programs for the CDCSB under the direction of the Executive Director.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Executive Director to develop and comprehensive fundraising and marketing plan.
  • Set and achieve realistic fundraising goals and time-line
  •  Create a sustainable funding streams including grants, individuals, corporations, community events, and foundations
  • Maintain the existing fundraising database (Little Green Light) that captures all relevant donor and marketing information
  • Create marketing materials including but not limited to: digital and print newsletter, online advertising, social media posts, event promotional materials, press releases, etc.
  • Provide support for the CDCSB’s Small Business Technical Assistance Program
  • Work on fundraising events
  •  Interact with individual donors and create donor retention and acknowledgment initiatives
  • Work to accomplish mailings through Mailchimp and USPS
  • Oversees Donor Appeals

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Attention to details and deadlines
  • Prior work with non-profit and fundraising /marketing preferred.
  • Familiarity with MailChimp, Wordpress, Excel, Facebook, Little Green Light or donor database.
  • Ability to execute plan on time with measurable results.
  • Able to work independently, complete goals and take ownership of work.
  • Positive attitude. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working remote and in the office 2 days per week under COVID enforced safety measures.
