About the role:

 

We are looking for a dynamic and engaged Academic Publishing Coordinator to support the Senior Vice President, USA / Director of Scholarly Communications R&D in carrying out her role, which covers management of the New York office and areas within the Academic Publishing business such as Open Research, Author & Research Services, and Research Ethics. The Coordinator will be responsible for:

 

-assisting the SVP on strategic research, presentation preparation, and information gathering/monitoring in scholarly communications and the Academic publishing business.


-administrative coordination on end-to-end meeting planning and travel/expense arrangements for the SVP.


-Overseeing and managing the New York office employee engagement program, including arranging “Lunch and Learn” events, external speakers, and occasional training sessions.


-individual project management across functions on an as-needed basis

 

This position is important to the successful day-to-day operations of a fast-paced, complex, and global operation and the smooth running of the New York office. The Academic Publishing Coordinator will work across the departments and be exposed to an exciting cross-section of Cambridge University Press’s operations.
