Description

Cultivate Collective is seeking a highly organized and strategic-minded individual to join our non-profit organization as the Associate Director. As the Associate Director, you will work closely with the executive leadership team to provide high-level administrative and operational support. You will play a critical role in driving the organization's mission, managing internal operations, and ensuring effective communication and coordination among various departments.


Responsibilities:


  1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
  2. Collaborate with the executive leadership team to develop and implement the organization's strategic initiatives.
  3. Monitor progress on key organizational goals and initiatives, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions.
  4. Conduct research and provide analytical support for strategic decision-making.
  5. Project and Program Management:
  6. Oversee and manage key projects and programs, ensuring they are executed efficiently and effectively.
  7. Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  8. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
  9. Executive Support:
  10. Act as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team, providing support on various operational and strategic matters.
  11. Prepare and coordinate materials for executive meetings, including agendas, presentations, and reports.
  12. Assist in drafting, reviewing, and editing executive communications and documents.
  13. Participate in funder meetings as needed and assist with preparation and follow up.
  14. Communication and Coordination:
  15. Facilitate communication and information flow across different departments and teams.
  16. Serve as a liaison between the executive leadership team and other staff members, relaying information, decisions, and priorities.
  17. Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, and events involving internal and external stakeholders.
  18. Organizational Efficiency and Effectiveness:
  19. Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  20. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  21. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, providing regular reports to the executive leadership team.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role, preferably within the non-profit sector.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management abilities, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Proficient in using productivity tools and software, such as MS Office Suite, project management software, and collaboration platforms.
