Case Management Coordinator - HOPE Court Focus (Non-Exempt) 

Make a difference in the lives of survivors of human trafficking by joining the FAIR Girls team. As a Case Management Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting survivors of human trafficking in reaching their goals and meeting personal needs. FAIR Girls provides survivor-defined care to over 100 young women survivors of human trafficking annually, offers emergency housing thru our Vida Home, and offers crisis intervention and emergency housing for individuals referred for services through law enforcement and other community partners. FAIR Girls’ case managers specialize in providing trauma-informed and survivor-centered interventions for victims and provide a safe space to support survivors in building their lives. Roles and Responsibilities:

Case Management (40%):

  • Manage a caseload of female-identified survivors of trafficking and/or Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) aged 11 to 26 who are based in the community and/or residing in our Vida Home
  • Provide long-term case management services to FAIR Girls clients such as, researching/obtaining safe housing, healthcare, identification documentation, jobs, crisis stabilization, and mental healthcare referrals, and emotional support.
  • Provide psycho-education to clients about commercial sexual exploitation and trafficking to prevent re-victimization.
  • Maintain accurate and updated case notes 
  • Provide staff coverage and lead groups in our Drop-In Center on a rotating basis.


 HOPE Court Case Management (40%):

  • Provide comprehensive case management, mentorship and advocacy to a caseload of up to 10 youth on a weekly basis 
  • Attend all staffings, hearings, and client related meetings
  • Educate parents/caregivers on recognizing/understanding signs of CSEC and Human Trafficking
  • Arrange family meetings, as needed, to serve as a mediator when conflicts arise
  • Provide psychoeducation on trauma, healthy relationships, and coping mechanisms
  • Collaborate with youth clients and their team to maintain wrap around services
  • Advocate for clients’ self-identified needs and challenges 


On-Call Supervision and Crisis Response (20%):

  • Provide on-call after hours support for our residential program, The Vida Home and Vida Home clients during times of crisis.
  • Oversee and assist Vida Home staff as needed
  • Provide in-person crisis response and emergency hotel check-in for survivors leaving trafficking situations. 
  • Staff the Crisis Referral Line calls and provide crisis support and referrals. 


Qualifications:

  • One to two years direct services experience AND relevant education including but not limited to bachelor and or master's degrees in: criminal justice, gender studies, public health, psychology, social work, sociology, etc.
  • OR four + years of direct services experience
  • OR identification as a survivor of commercial sexual exploitation and/or trafficking, and direct services experience
